We have a Preschooler

My little sister did get married Monday. We are so incredibly happy for her and Dan. I hope to write about it and post pictures when the professional ones come in on a CD. The entire thing was so beautiful and really fun.

Today Gunnar officially started preschool. He is in a group of about 5 other little 2-3 year old. He appeared to love it. He told Jeff all about flattening playdoh and then pushing a twinkle star button in it. He goes for 1 1/2 hours two times per week. He is going to love it and most likely get so much from it. He has such a fantastic teacher, Hannah Hamilton. She is a school teacher gone stay at home mom with a Bachelor and Masters Degree. She is just great. You can check out her preschool blog here. We were given the assignment last week at an Open House to turn posterboard into a little Gunnar. This is what we came up with. I laid Gunnar down and traced him. His head was turned thus the crazy shaped head. I added fabric for a shirt (we later added buttons on it), blue felt eyes and a real glued car to his hand. Gunnar did his magic with markers and he looks perfect. Gunnar just loved this paper guy.
