Love These Little Guys

Last weekend, we took a really short trip to Utah to attend the funeral of Jeff's aunt. She died rather quickly of cancer on Father's Day. We left Friday night and returned Saturday night. It was great to see all of the cousins from both sides. I think the only person missing was Jesse, Jeff's little brother. Now that I think of it, we really should have gotten a picture of all of the cousins. That will probably never happen again. It was pretty rare because there are a bunch of them. It was great to catch up.

On the way there, we spotted Ikea from the freeway. Easy access meant that I wanted to go there. I really wanted to show Jeff how crazy this place was. It was huge and fun and inexpensive. Before we headed home with a stop at Ikea first, we told one of Jeff's cousins what we were doing. She told us about these kids bowls that are great and wished that she could get more. So we were on the hunt for these bowls. I figured if she said that they were good, then I would like them too.
I finally spotted them in someones cart and asked her where she found them. To my surprise, they had the bowls, plates, cups and utensils. All of them were $1.99/six. I was getting some. We needed more. I got a set of plates, cups, utensils and 2 sets of bowls. I love these things! They are durable and were cheap. They are the perfect size for kids. The one thing that cracks me up are the forks. Those things are daggers. They are sharper than adult forks. Aren't those fun colors. We also got two $1.49 curtain rods for Gunnar's room. I was struggling with paying $10 here for them. I just needed something simple and extremely basic.

Those are great! We have the utensils and the bowls. In fact Claire is eating out of one right now and usually those are the only ones she will eat out of.

We have all of them too! We don't use the utinsils as much but I have 3 sets of bowls and plates. We use so many in one day! I usually eat my lunch on them too!

I have these too and I love them. I even put them in the dishwasher, on the bottom rack.
