FETCH!

Jeff and Gunnar went out to poop scoop the yard. Gunnar gets so excited to go out there. I think mostly because it means that he can play frisbee with his dad. Anything to get him excited about doing this future chore in the future works for us. Jeff started playing fetch with Diesel. He loves to fetch and he is so good at it. I have never, ever had a dog that fetch a ball AND brought it back. He is even getting really good at sitting down next to you when he brings it back. We are amazed.

Lately we have been taking him to a school that has been abandoned (it was rebuilt down the road) to run. I wanted somewhere that had a fence. I had no idea how he was going to react and what he was going to do. He actually sticks around. We have never had a dog that sticks around and comes back. Incredible. He even ignores the barking dogs at the houses that border the playground. We also love going there because 1) it is within a short walking distance and 2)Gunnar burns his energy at the same time on the playground. It is a win-win for everyone.
