That is so worthy of its own post! This was our first year in 10 years of marriage that my dad didn't do them and boy am I actually glad. Next year taxes will hopefully run so much smoother and I am aware of more deductions than years past. I am educated, even though Jeff tells me he was trying to tell me these things all along. Crazy how when I got to the end of the return I was starting to get a little nervous about actually pushing the button to officially file. I couldn't believe I was done. It felt like I was missing something. One error came up out of the entire thing and it was that 'probation officer' (for Jeff's occupation) was too long for the state return. How dumb is that. It wouldn't let me correct it right there for some reason so I finally figured out that I had to go back to the very first page. I feel so good and so relieved to have this behind me. How do people do this for a living. An uncle on my side and an uncle on Jeff's side both do it as well as one of my cousins. How? My eyes and head were going crazy. But crazy no more they are.

I got my taxes done yesterday and I, too, was very nervous to hit the officially file button. But they ARE so easy! I had no errors too which was awesome! We just need to do Rillz's now and next year we only have to file one! woohoo
P.S. it seems your music selection is becoming more to my liking! Has my type of music rubbed off on you? HAha

Yeah for taxes being all done! It's a great feeling huh? Especially when you get a good amount back. Hey I wanted to let you know my mom sent an invitation to your mom's house inviting all the girls to the baby shower this Saturday. My mom left town this morning unexpectedly and was worried you guys may have not known because she remembered your mom was visiting Pennie and was not sure how long for. hah this post made me laugh. I have no idea hwo they do taxes- I think they're very smart! ha. is all I knwo is I'm so glad I could pay my dad a chocolate pie to do ours. Glad you got them done!
Yeah! We are almost done with ours too, we were all into it last weekend and then just haven't had time yet this weekend.
